What Did We Just DO??
Back in April of 2025, Jan and I visited the Sportsmobile shop in Austin. We signed a build order for them to customize a Ford Transit van into a Class B RV. Oops.
So we bought a 2023 Ford Transit Trail from Phil Long Ford in Denver Colo. Bought it from photos sent to us by the salesman Chip. It was then transported down to Austin in June.
Production build did not start until August 21. It is now scheduled to be completed Nov 4, 2025.

Starting in August, the production team started work..........
Of course, once you have bought a new RV, you have to go to Amazon and buy all the stuff needed to go into the RV. Here is a list of 'stuff' bought so far:
- 30 Amp Surge Protector
- Transit Cover
- Wheel Chocks
- Front Windshield Cover
- Kitchen stuff
- Bedding
- Wheel Locks
- Potty Tote
- Water and Sewer Hoses
- and it goes on and on
